"What a place to stay. Free boat transfer to and from the little airfield. Really nice food and drinks. Rooms don’t have AC but are wide open and well ventilated. However those are small points compared to the entire area of the hotel and the surroundings. "The staff at the Serendipity are great. Angie picked us up at the port and walked us back early in the morning on departure day, Anna served breahfasts, lunches and dinners in the courtyard, and they all helped to arrange tours. We did the kayak tour with Wesley and found it very enjoyable and informative. Also did a walkabout with Jonathan, which was lots of fun. Tortuguero was a very worthwhile place to visit, we would come back and stay at the Serendipity again."
