This is a wonderful property in a countryside setting with an equally nice restaurant. I had enjoyable stays there before. However, service and reception quality seem to have deteriorated over the years. On our last stay, we were not even able to use the room we had booked: The reception was closed when we arrived within the stated opening hours, I could find no keys, and no phone number could be reached. Aggressive behavior around my later request for a refund. So I will not be back.

Arrived at 19:50 no kore reception, this was not so bad as they had prepared my room and key, redtsursnt closed no one around breakfst went wrong too, without gping into to too much detail, serivice is definitely not one of the highest at this facility, although the surroings are beautiful and I was really looking forwrd to my stay, it was unfortunately very disapponting..

loved it. I was getting tired of city and urban hotels. I found this one on an old farm property which has been lovingly updated and with more accommodation under construction consistent with the existing traditional architecture. Country air and open space to enjoy and recharge my batteries

Nice place to stay out in Nature
This place is out in the boonies and my GPS let me down in the dark. When I left in the morning, I saw the error that had been made on finding the place, which had me in the middle of a farmer's field. There are main streets (marked) to get to this place. You have to check in from 1600 to 2000 which is a bit of inconvenience to some. However, the check in was rapid and friendly. The room was small but very nice. No refrig. and the internet is horrible (I could not download a simple document from our company website). The sauna and work-out are two older machines and a sauna I could not find in the dark.........(this needs to be more clearly defined for new guests). All in all, I found the place very nice and probably a relaxing destination in warmer weather.

Excellent hotel not too far from Köln, Germany. Food was excellent. A rural respite in touring Germany.

Remote Location - Good food, but Chalet Bedrooms
A remote location, with timber chalet accommodation. Good about this hotel was the restaurant and food, and the presence of a large groups, which brought the place to life. Not so good was the bedroom, which was a timber chalet type reached via some very badly laid concrete slabs. Access to the hotel was along some very minor roads - reminiscent of tracks.

Das Gut ist sehr ruhig gelegen in einer schönen Umgebung. Das ist leider schon das einzige positive. Die Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig. Im Bedezimmer hängt der Handtuchhalter von der Wand, Fußbodenleisten fehlen usw. Die Sauberkeit lässt auch sehr zu wünschen übrig. Überall im Zimmer lagen Staubfussel herum. Telefonisch ist auch niemand erreichbar und wenn man auf den Anrufbeantworter spricht, erhält man keine Rückmeldung.

Tolle Location in idyllischer und ruhiger Lage
Die Lage, die Hotelanlage, die Ruhe, die Natur, die Tiere, alles wirklich hervorragend. Der einzige Wermutstropfen war das Frühstück für 19.90 Euro pro Person, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmen hier nicht. Zu wenig Auswahl für einen zu hohen Preis.
