"We were staying one night for a local competition. Managed to get parked but the car park was very tight. Back door was wedged open so not too sure about security here. The hallway needs cleaned up a lot, it does not give a good impression. Once into the apartment we were pleasently surprised, it was modern and clean and was more than suitable for the overnight stay. The apartment was freezing though and only electric heaters for high ceiling rooms takes ages to heat up. Lovely big old fashioned...

"Easy check in with details via email. Appartment was clean and comfortable. Big fridge freezer and a modern washing machine were great. Designated parking space was excellent. A good Chinese takeaway a few steps from the block. Outside the Aberdeen Low Emission Zone."

"It was amazing, it was comfortable , clean and homely. There was juice , cornflakes , pancakes , breakfast cereals , milk etc in the fridge for us . The experience was wonderful , will recommend to all. "

"Lovely apartment! Host was very communicative and responded to all requests and questions. Bed clothes were uncomfortable and there were no toiletries or paper goods upon arrival. Gave this feedback to Michael. Great laundry service. Dryer on washer doesn’t work."

"We were a group of 10, grandparents kids and teenage grandkids. This was perfect for us to give us all space after a crowded week in London. Masood was extremely kind accommodating to all our needs. Grocery nearby as well as another shop that sold great pastries. Close to the train station, we walked less than 10 minutes."

"Our stay here was terrible. All of our stuff was packed without our permission when we went out. By the time we came, it was lying near the stairs because my phone wasn't reachable and the other guests were waiting. The staff was very reluctant to let us go in and check whether there's anything left behind. I'd hate to generalise but our experience in Aberdeen was ruined because of this BnB. I personally wouldn't ever want to stay with them in any part of the world "

"Nice to see an older hotel being given a bit of a face lift. Upgraded to executive room which was huge. Bed was a bit too firm for both of us but slept well otherwise. Room design flawed by aesthetics over practicality when it comes to mirrors at the desk which you can’t sit in front of as the mirror is off set and plug a fair distance from the bigger mirror so a bit of a faff."

"The staff go above and beyond at this hotel! They were so helpful with everything! We were also delighted to get a room with a bath, as we just have a shower at home, so a hotel always gets a bonus point from me for keeping their baths in use! The Copthorne is in a great location for the restaurants and pubs of Aberdeen. There is no onsite parking, but we got the train into town, so didn't need parking. The only thing I maybe didn't like so much about the room we had was the white paint and cool white lighting. I like my decor and lighting a bit cosier. It was very bright and clean though, and the mirror especially was well lit - always a plus for those of us who will be applying make-up. If you pay for your breakfast when you check-in, it costs £11, which is excellent value. We also thought the breakfast was wonderful. Will definitely come back to the Copthorne."
