"This is not an hotel or a Bed and Breakfast but a working farm (vineyard and olive groves) with a beautiful guesthouse with comfortable basic bedrooms. The dinners are family style for each room/group and there is only one menu per evening. The dinners were delicious and the wine was very good. There were activities you could sign up for as well. But the greatest part of the property is the views of the vineyards, olive groves, and the Tuscan countryside. Absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful....

"Beautiful hotel in a wonderful peaceful setting about a ten minute shuttle to San Gimignano. High end restaurant was wonderful but pricey so for the second night we ate in the lobby restaurant. Highly recommend this oasis. "

"Beautiful property. We did horseback riding which was a highlight and the cooking class was fantastic. The pool was relaxing and beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable- literally felt like home!! We would go there again for sure. Incredibly relaxing experience."

"Absolutely loved the experience we had with this spa villa! Beautiful grounds pools and dinning experience. Staff were very welcoming and always attentive. My only negative thought on this property would be the cost to using the spa at 40 euros pp not per room. Otherwise an exceptional stay!"

"Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "

"The hotel is really, right in the middle of the historic center. It is a bit of trouble to get to the front of the hotel but, if you follow the instructions that the hotel very kindly provides, then you will be ok."

"We arranged for transportation from train station Poggibonsi which serves San Gimignano to hotel with return after our stay. Excellent service. Hotel staff always helpful. Located inside gates of old city with wonderful local restaurants and coffee shops. Good breakfast buffet option. We stayed in lots of hotels on our trip to Italy and this one is favorably memorable. "Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Right in the main square of beautiful San Gimignano. Walk right out your door to all the action. We were there during a big festival and couldn’t hear anything from our room that had a valley view. Breakfast was also excellent. Bringing your car into the city to drop off your luggage is challenging for people not used to driving in ancient walled cities! Stop at the red lights in the city even if you don’t see a reason to. "The facilities are terrific but the hotel staff are without equal. Everyone from the front desk to the team serving breakfast, lunch, or dinner are the best. We felt like the only guests at Villa Sabolini. We have to agree with the others that the food is top notch. We ate lunches and dinners many days and found the experiences delicious. The location of you want to explore Tuscany is perfect as it is central if you’re looking to visit Cortona or Pisa or Florence. "

"Lovely large rustic traditional rooms in stunning Tuscan countryside setting. Handy location for visiting the many local historic villages & towns of the area. Excellent breakfast with a large variety of choices & will cook eggs to your order. Lovely swimming pool in the grounds & on-site restaurant. The added benefit was that our 2no dogs were allowed to stay in the hotel"

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint boutique hotel situated on beautiful grounds. Our room was spacious, clean and a lovely view. Outstanding breakfast included every morning. We also loved the location in the countryside just minutes from San Gimignano. Francesca and Luca were most hospitable! Highly recommend!"
