"The property was undeniably beautiful and spacious, but the pre-arrival process was a disaster. I booked a Global Luxury Suites hotel via hotels.com, only to find it was actually the Skymark building, owned by Churchill. I opted to pay upon arrival, yet my card was charged in full 7-10 days before my stay without any explanation. Attempts to resolve this with hotels.com failed; they couldn't contact the company. A search for "Global Luxury Suites, Reston VA" revealed it didn't exist. I received...

"There are no grocery stores within walking distance of the neighborhood. "

"Very nice clean apartment in a safe neighborhood, close to the metro. Only a few little issues the Internet didn't work, there were no measuring cups, and there was not enough toilet paper for the whole week that we stayed there."

"Location is excellent. Walking distance to everything you need. Amenities were great as well. We had some issues but the hosts came through and made things right. It was nice having the comforts of home while on our short trip to DC. "

"Everything was great, except the Queen Size mattress that was way, way too soft and made sleeping uncomfortable. I sent a message to the concierge service, but they were unable to change it during my 6 day stay (possibly due to the Thanksgiving holiday). That said, I would certainly stay there again and the underground parking that was included, made getting in and out of the apartment very convenient. Altogether a great place for a short stay, when visiting the DMV."
