"The location is fantastic, just a few blocks from the main road makes it quiet. The food in the morning and at the restaurant is delicious. The hotel, rooms and beach are very clean. The bed is comfy and the ac runs very cold. We love this location in the island and would definitely stay again. "The best hotel on the Phu Quoc island!! We booked two hotels, both considered the best hotels and LaVeranda is by far the best, in our opinion. Excellent beach, beautiful gardens, people who work here know you by name and are sincerely interested in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Loved the food - both for breakfast and when you come in for lunch or dinner. In fact, even after we moved to another hotel, we were coming back to enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the live music and singing. The beach is really the best. The hotel is not very big which makes it very cozy and the beach is more than enough for people who come stay here. The rooms are always cleaned perfectly. The yoga and meditation sessions are amazing. Absolutely in love with the SPA services and center. Booked several massage sessions with Tram and felt so light and relaxed after them (Tram is amazing!) Sam, the Guest Experience Manager, is so welcoming and always very helpful - an absolute pleasure to deal with! Sin, the chef, cooks amazing food - went for a cooking class with him. All the staff is great, helpful and really made our vacation one of the best experiences of our life. We strongly recommend to spend time at LaVeranda if you consider going to Phu Quoc. Even if you don’t stay here, you will enjoy coming for SPA or food. We really feel like we left a family there as the whole team became so dear to our hearts!"

"Reasonably priced beach front resort with a nice swimming pool. Pros: Beach front hotel with a few bungalows offer good privacy, The infinity pool (clean water) is well-positioned with a great view of the sea. There are plenty of beds at the beach for everyone, room is clean, breakfast is right on the beach with a few different options, food and drinks are reasonable. Start at 7! Cons: My room is really tiny and there’s hardly any room on either sides of the bed. Aircon is really noisy. Hot water system is not reliable. Rubbish on the beach and staff need to make sure they keep cleaning up throughout the day. Staff not very attentive to the guests on the beach - umbrellas are not adjusted even once. There was construction happening right at the beach front which did not help much with the relaxation :( Staff would not even try to accommodate half hour late check out :( "
