"We absolutely loved this Lodge! We stayed for one week. It was very clean and conveniently located, just a couple minutes walk to the beach. And lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was provided every day. And the staff was super friendly and helpful! They spoke English and helped us book an ATV for the week and surf lessons. Lovely people all around. In addition, our room was right in front of the pool, room number five, and the bathroom ceiling was partially see-through and we could see large iguanas and monkeys every day! Highly recommend!"

"This is a beautiful place to stay! The ocean is your view every morning for breakfast or yoga, the garden hammock provides the afternoon nap, and the pool works great for cocktails at dusk. Staff are competent and kind, the bungalows were simple and welcoming, and the menu offered lots of options. Lovely place for a family or couple. "

The staff was very friendly and personable. Gorgeous pool and very comfortable suites. We loved the yoga classes and spa. Don’t miss the sunset at Manzu, make sure you book a table in the sand. "The hotel was fabulous, set in its own piece of jungle. Green, tropical and quiet. We had a super room overlooking the jungle with all the wonderful noises and the waves in the background. My only observation was it was a little hard to find, we arrived after dark and the map showed we had arrived but took a minute to find it. I suggest the management illuminate the hotel sign ?? Highly recommend. Montezuma is small but very attractive little town and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay "
