"Overall, the hotel is very good – the facilities are excellent, and the food was outstanding. However, one of the rooms we were given was extremely small, to the point where it felt like a design mistake by the architect. Additionally, since it was summer, it got quite hot and the hotel does not have air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable at times. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay."
"The little apartment was great, clean, tidy and well equipped. Only challenge was the pullout sofa bed was very creaky and therefore not the best night's sleep. Lovely place and lovely town."
"Perfect place to stay if you’re travelling up from south of France towards the north very basic room which met our needs the only downside was that the bathroom had a very strong smell of damp. "
"I loved the place ! We have been welcomed in a very nice manner and the rooms are typical and very confortable. Highly recommended and will come back next year for sure!
Thanks to Jarek and mde Confuron for preparing our early coffee!"
"We where not lucky with the temperature, 38 degrees, no airco in room. Sleeping with open window was only solution but al night trains passing by. Used a ventilator ( from me ) to cool down the room.
No refrigerator in the room , wood be nice to have.
But the staff was friendly and helpful, for that, thank you. "
"Une nuit au sein de cet établissement, récement repris par un passionné de l'hôtellerie, ayant une expérience de grands hotels.
Le lieu est super, tres cosy. Nous avons été accueilli par le directeur, et tout de suite le lien se crée.
Le sommelier nous a fait visiter la cave de l'hôtel, et découvrir l'histoire de ce lieu et de Gevrey Chambertin.
Plutot bien placé, la visite de Gevrey peut se faire à pieds depuis l'hôtel.

"The property is licated in the picturesque area with beutiful views and a walking distance from the village center. Its in line with other similar hotels with a few notable nuisances that made us feel a bit undeserved:
1. The rooms have no fridges nor hotel itself has no icemakers available to guests. Whilebtheyboffered to store our food somewhere in the shared kitchen fridge this is pretty uncomfortable option in mid-July where you cannot get a glass of chilled water.
2. While hitel sits on the nice property there is no outside area to sit and enjoy te views besides patio sitting area. However they dont allow outside food or wine on that patio or force you to pay a fee which we find ridiculous
3. Hotel pictures feature a nice pool while in reality the pool is not part of the hotel bit is located at the spa that requires additional fee, reservation and a time limit of 2 hrs. Which we find ridiculous if it was advertised as a hotel amenity.
Overall hotel was fine but it felt as a total money grab for every normally common amenity"
"I think this is a marvelous property. I have stayed here for the last 3 years. It is clean, updated, and the staff is so very kind and helpful. I have messaged w them in advance and they have been very responsive to my needs. I think the bedding is great, the room is spacious, and cozy. The hotel is slightly remote in terms of public transit but if you have a car, this is not a problem. The restaurant menu is somewhat limited but the selections are appealing. Make sure you make reservations in advance if you plan to eat there as it is not a large restaurant. I plan to go every year! "
