The only good thing we can say is the place was clean. One employee went out of the way to help is Wesley. He did everything from maintenance to hurricane cleanup, IT help. Unfortunately, property has been allowed to deteriorate over recent years. Our toilet leaked and had to be reset. Toilet ran constantly. Rooms are very dated. The bathroom is tiny barely room for tub and toilet. Sink was in the living area!. No services were available no breakfast, occasionally coffee was available in morning due to eminent H/ Milton. In summary the " only port in a storm".

This historic hotel is a great location to ride out a storm. Older building that provides all the essentials. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Economical choice.

When I first got there to check in they gave me a key to a used room red flag number 1. Then the next room had roaches in the room. The next day I informed the staff and asked for clean towels and the towel had spots on them. Took them to the front desk and showed them she didn’t even apologize she took the towels and gave me some more that had stains as well. I would never go there again.

TV was broken showing only a green line. Reserved room was being repaired and had to wait 4 hours for another room to be ready for my stay. Location was decent. But will be making reservations at another hotel should there be a return trip.

There was only AC in the rooms, none in rest of hotel, including hallways. One room never had hot water it was a king size bed sweat even, food was terrible if availible, at times had cereal but no milk or waffle iron but no plates. Was charged for room when checkeout previous day, provided tex exmpt paperwork was still charged taxes, when spoke with staff he said he was edjusted and take off taxes and email me he never did, we have been useing this hotel for about 20 yrs, we will never use it again if at alll pissible.
