"The Hotel McCoy is a small, quaint but cool, boutique Hotel. Totally modernized and done in a sort of midcentury type retro modern, without being totally midcentury, it was a nice place to rest our head. We were only in town for a day, so we didn't get to enjoy everything the McCoy had to offer, but I would definitely stay there again and recommend it.
Their front desk is only open until 10, and we were arriving later than that. But they sent me my room number and access code at 9:30 and had a night porter on-site if we had any issues. Very efficient and easy check-in, They've definitely embraced technology where it helps the process for both guest and staff. Check-out was sending a text. Easy. The room was nice and spacious and well equipped. The bathroom isn't huge, but it wasn't tiny and it seems like it's been recently remodeled and is super clean. Though we didn't use them, there's a gym, a bar, a mini store in the office, and there's a chill out area with ping pong and foosball.
The only downsides were the small parking area in the front of the hotel and the A/C noise. We did find parking in the back, though we were told we should have parked on the side. But, not a huge issue. The in-unit A/C units are extremely loud, but earplugs were provided and we were so tired it didn't matter. But something to note if you are sensitive to that. It's definitely a cute place to stay if you are in town to visit your kid at WSU or catch a game."
