"The hotel is well located (from My point of view). The Champagne houses are very close (we had a car). The staff is very nice and they respond very quickly if you have any demands. Some of the staff does not speak English. Room size is perfect. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options. "

"This was my second stay at this hotel. Both times have been consistently great. Very clean, helpful hotel staff (high level of English in case you do not speak French), nicely appointed rooms. Great location. As a bonus I was able to get into room early which was so helpful after overnight flight. "

"I really appreciate it the spacious rooms and the central location. Unfortunately we found a large piece of glass under the bed which means the cleaning crew did not do a thorough job. If anyone had accidentally stepped on it, it would most likely have ended up in a trip to the hospital to get stitches. I showed it to the staff at the front desk and all I got was an “oh, I am sorry “. "

"This brilliant hotel rescued me when I was stranded in Reims when the last TGV out of town was cancelled. The staff were utterly brilliant in looking after me. I wasn’t prepared for an overnight stay and they provided all the toiletries that I needed. And an iPhone charger. Because it was late, the bar was no longer serving food, so one of the receptionists helped me find some dinner from the kitchen. All through, they were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and kind. "Logos du Paris is in a beautiful location opposite the Cathedral. They have a restaurant where we dined, thankfully it was open on Sunday evening as many restaurants in this region are not. Delicious food with excellent and friendly service. We would definitely return to explore this beautiful town."

Casa La Palma Le 48 & La Courmellette Hammam et Sauna

"Grand house with character in the nice part of town only a 7 min walk to the cathedral. Easy on-street parking. House has a slightly quirky museum-esque feel to it with lots of statues and busts dotted around the place. Room was spacious, bed was huge, shower was excellent and everything felt very clean. Breakfast was simple (cereal, bread, fabulous croissants and fruit) but substantial. Would recommend. "

Great stay, great location, great staff.

"Excellent location in Laon. Husband and wife staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. We'd hoped to dine on site for our evening meal. Their restaurant was closed and they found us an alternative restaurant and made a dinner reservation for us. I was recovering from a cold and the owner prepared me a hot lemon honey and ginger drink to have before I went to bed. Even made me one the following morning. To some the hotel may feel dated, but out group of 8 loved the sense of history the hotel had. The building has heritage status and should I ever find myself back in Laon, I would definitely stay here again. "
