"Lovely hotel for a short stay, the staff are all friendly and helpful, the room was spacious enough for a travel cot and had a large dressing area and lovely views of the garden. The breakfast and lunch was good, fresh ingredients and well seasoned. My only note would be that the travel cot provided had no mattress (just the thin hard one that comes with a travel cot), as they left a large blanket and sheet I wrapped the sheet around the blanket to make a mattress and it worked very well,...

"The room was very clean and bathroom too. Comfortable and also a good size. We were expecting the room to be cleaned the next day - Boxing Day - but it wasn't. We didn't see anyone at all throughout our stay other the cleaner on the morning that we were checking out. Maybe because it wax Christmas Day and Boxing Day. "

"Truly gorgeous property, serene, friendly, helpful and responsive team. Plush and Modern bathrooms; one with a clawfoot tub, sleek shower and his/her sinks! The kitchen was also quite lovely and meticulously redone and well stocked with things for tea and coffee etc. The rooms were quite spacious and clean with lovely countryside views and what must be the most comfortable bed on this side of the pond! Thanks Andy for such an enjoyable stay!"

"I had the most comfortable stay at the family suite that made me feel like I’m at home. The bed and pillows had been the best that I had a good night sleep even on my first night and that rarely happens in all these years of travelling for work. The microwave and sink was an added bonus. I wish I could stay here until April whilst working in Gloucester but I needed a laundry facilities to wash my uniforms. Mona catered to all my needs and has been extremely accommodating. "

"We walked from the train station to the hotel and it was too far , very hilly. However, when we reach the hotel it was nice, an older building but clean and well kept up. Up. The food was great in the restaurant. Including one just up the hill from the hotel that was particularly interesting very often"
