"There was a problem with the pool, and it was unusable at the time we were there.very disappointing as we've been here several times before when everything was in perfect condition. However, the manager was helpful and understanding."

"Good secluded location. Front desk needs a bit attention. The guy who appears to be the front desk manager needs training on how to greet and welcome guests. He was little off when we entered as well as leaving. He had no idea what was going on and no interest helping luggage either. We had a question on wifi and noone picked up the phone. Breakfast service was very good. Waitress was nice and attentive. Overall, good small hotel with nice view but not sure worth the price."

Warm, clean and comfy

"We rented 3 bungalows for our December visit, and we were the only guests at Sunrise. The bungalows were clean and warm, and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was not included, but we found a couple restaurants open (Zakkum and Ikiz, both great). The location is perfect. We walked to the beach and to the restaurants. A bit disappointing, but not a super big deal: No one was at the bungalows when we arrived, and when we called the number posted, no one answered. So we hung out at the beach for a while. Also, the remote control for the heater didn’t work until we replaced the batteries. And the toilet paper in the bathroom was damp. I think these are all due to visiting in the off season. Overall, a very positive and pleasant stay. "
