"Characterful, in quiet part of Malta, mostly avoiding the tourist hordes. Owners are very friendly and welcoming with travel tips and advice. Maltese bakery within 100yds is great for breakfast takeaway Maltese style ie large portion, lots of sugar. Breakfast apple pie is a must try if you're not worried about calories. "This is a nice hotel in an easily accessible location. All the staff but especially reception were welcoming, very helpful and professional. The apartment was a good size, clean and in good condition. Higher floors have a view to the harbour which I later realised was just 15 minutes walk away. 30 minutes to the terminal. Although near the university, it was fairly quiet. The only disappointment was breakfast. The selection wasn’t really to my taste. "

"It was a pleasure to stay at Village Knights B&B. Simon & Elvira are very friendly hosts and open to give you local tips (restaurants/events). The house is amazing and has a lot of style. The rooms are large and very clean. The B&B is quite good located (by car approx. 10min away from the airport and most of the points at the island max. 30min). Thanks a lot to Simon & Elvira! :)"

"What an amazing property - a true gem. Loved the friendliness of the staff, the location and the decor. The staff were so welcoming and super helpful and kind. "A very warm and friendly welcome from the owners. Individually and tastefully furnished room. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower in the ensuite. "Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast but there is water and a coffee machine always available. The room was lovey and the staff went to the extra effort of decorating the room for our anniversary and recent engagement, which was a nice touch. "There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which makes it very convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I loved the room. It had a nice floor plan, was clean, well maintained and modern. There's plenty of lighting including a good reading light on each side of the bed. I enjoyed the espresso machine, but wish there was creamer available. It would also be nice if there was a place in the bathroom or by the mirror to plug in he hair dryer or a curling iron. There's also a slight tilt in the shower floor so water will drain which made me a bit nervous I'd loose my footing or slip."
