"This was a perfect little spot. A house with 5 rooms for guests, an enormous living room upstairs to lounge in and a perfect dining area on the ground floor. The hosts are kind and helpful. They ask that you give them plenty of notice for dinner which they make using ingredients from their farm. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. A great place for a short or long stay. The village is quiet and you will be quite alone at the footsteps to the Pyrenees ."

"The property fell short of its 4 star rating and our expectations. The lighting in the kitchen/main room did not work. The hot water in the shower was exhausted rather quickly. Most unpleasant was the presence of mosquitos and the lack of air-conditioning as the temperature reached 38C on the day when we arrived. "

"It is a small hotel, with on site parking ( very important to me) and a very good restaurant. The room that I had was a small one but clean. They said there are bigger rooms available. Breakfast is simple, it is not a buffet tipe. To me, the food and wine from the restaurant is what making me comming back. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Was a good experience to me, every time I come back with pleasure. "

"La region est très belle, le village calme et souriant, la partie hôtel de l'établissement ne compte que trois chambres et le restaurant ne fonctionne qu'à midi en semaine, donc sejour très calme et reposant. La chambre et la salle de bain propres et équipées de tout le necessaire. L'hôtesse nous a donné les informations utiles pour trouver une bonne table le soir dans un restaurant de la petite ville tres proche. Un seul bémol: le petit déjeuner est succint...mais servi avec le sourire!"

"An amazing 300 year old chateau renovated by a young Dutch couple and run as a 3 room B and B, sooon to be 4. Sophie the charming hostess runs it with gusto and Arthur the enormous Pyrenean Mountain Dog is on guard although he is likely only to give you a good licking. Our bedroom and bathroom were enormous and well equipped with a comfortable bed,TV, coffe machine, bath and shower and separate toilet. Fantastic breakfast in the morning"

"Je nai pas dormi dans cet hôtel car en arrivant j'ignorais qu'il y avait bar discothèque au rez de chaussée. Ce n'est pas préciser que le site du caractère bruyant. Comme je devais me lever à 5h pour le travail jai fait demi tour. Et cerise sur le gâteau, hôtels.com m'a prélevé et ne répond pas à mes messages."

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at Château du Bec du Gave for three nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. We stayed in the Aurora room, which was beautifully decorated with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The attention to detail was truly impressive, feeling both luxurious and homely. The owners of the château are lovely people who went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like cherished guests rather than just visitors. The breakfast served on the terrace is also a highlight and truly delicious! The views from the château are magnificent, especially the views over the river. It's a perfect spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of the surroundings. The grounds around the property added to the tranquillity and offered space for peaceful walks. A special mention must be made of their friendly dogs, who added an extra layer of charm to our stay. They were always happy to see us and made us feel even more at home. Overall, our stay at Château du Bec du Gave was exceptional. We highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat in a stunning location.
