We have stayed at the Diderot a number of times over the years. Mainly as a stop over enroute. It is very well located in the middle of Chinon and there is limited parking next to the hotel. The breakfast is just right with fresh bread and their home made jams. It was all as good as ever and a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful hotel in old French style. No elevator. Great breakfast in front of a big fire with choices of fruit lots of different breads and home made jams. Good coffee. Helpful unobtrusive staff Lots of stairs!!

Une fois que l’on sait qu’il n’y a ni Clim, ni restaurant ni ascenseur il, on donne à cet hôtel la note maximale — disons 9,9 p, parce que 10/10 est du domaine de la métaphysique . Charmé, bar très sympa avec quelques snacks appréciés, un personnel d’exception, un parking protégé, au RdC un jardin fleuri charmant et des chambres incroyablement accueillantes. On rêve de revenir un jour! Merci!

Charmant, 2 points d'amélioration...
Hotel Charmant avec de belles plantes et une belle batisse. Une bouteille d'eau à l'arrivée dans la chambre serait appréciée. Selon les hôtels, j'ai même la joie de découvrir des boissons chaudes (thé, café) et quelques friandises. ;-) Le lieu est très calme et bien entretenu. Le tarif du parking est un peu elevé je trouve (8€).

Un Noël pas comme les autres, un hôtel charmant !
Nous avons passé trois nuits dans cet hôtel doté de tout ce qu'on recherche lorsqu'on souhaite passer un "espace-temps" sympathique... beauté et charme de la maison, chambres très bien aménagées, personnalisées et différentes les unes des autres. Endroit sympathique, petit déjeuner préparé avec attention, au coin de la cheminée, réponse à toutes nos questions : en fait... on y retournerait avec un très grand plaisir... et on remercie chacune des personnes "responsables" pour tout ou partie de l'établissement de leur accueil ; le 24 décembre impossible de trouver un restaurant ouvert dans cette bonne ville : pas de pb, des petites terrines (bon, pas d'extase gustative... mais de quoi se nourrir !), soirée passée à jouer dans une pièce chaleureuse où les fous rire ont prouvé que tout allait bien ... Bref, on s'est presque sentis "chez nous", et cela a été difficile de partir ! Merci ! Et bonne année à vous.
