Lovely boutique hotel. Union Market is right around the corner. Staff was friendly & helpful. Stayed for a week. Coffee shop in lobby. Didn't eat at the Treehouse Restaurant because I had plans every night but did go up to catch the view. Only about 15 minutes to get to monument/Smithsonian area. Take an Uber. Parking in DC is ugly.

The shower water handle fell off repeatedly, no grab bars in the shower, bathroom had a window in the door with a curtain that wouldn’t close all the way, safe and table in the closet restricted hanging clothes to about 6 inches wide, my inhaler was dropped and left on the floor behind the sink. There are lockers in the hall. Very unappealing. The bed and pillows were wonderful.

Disliked the lack of coffee availability anywhere including the room-Doorman Lawrence was awesome and Mehmet was excellent but expresso only not coffee in room was major inconvenience

Love the hotel. Very nice, new, clean and styled adorably. The front desk staff wasn’t the nicest, like they seemed annoyed any time I had to speak to them. House keeping was good except they for got our waters every day and I had to call every time. They were extremely fast bringing it up to me after I’d call though. Beds were nice… a little firm. Ac/heat was perfect. Private bathroom in my room with nice heavy door that kept sounds and smells where they belong. The mochas at the coffee shop downstairs was great every morning too. Not too far to walk to restaurants and other POIs
