We were looking for a place to spend the night on our way from Rome to Monaco, this place, although only a few miles from the freeway, it is located on a mountain with narrow roads that take almost 40 minutes to drive. The check in is by yourself, there are only 6 rooms and when we got there at 7 pm we were the only people in the whole building. "If you’re considering this property, read all the info about location, parking and stairs and contact the host for advice if you can. Ours was a very last minute booking, so our arrival, parking and negotiating all those stairs wasn’t easy. Our host was so helpful on the phone - and so patient because I was nearly in tears. We had a lovely evening, and the breakfast next morning deserves 5 stars on its own.
