"Tiny little boutique Hotel only stayed one night so we could catch the ferry to Belize. But there are good restaurants within walking distance, the staff was so nice and welcoming, the room was perfect, and it was worth what we paid. We would definitely stay here again for a longer amount of time to explore the whole area."

"This hotel has amazing views. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was once very very nice but has gotten old. It's still nice but a little worn. Everything was clean and neat. The restaurant on site is fantastic, everything I ate there was over the top delicious, breakfast lunch and dinner."

"Booked this stay which was to be a king bed suite. Hotels.com contacted the location, as usual hsppens, and the reservation was confirmed. Oyo Hotel Marías did process the deposit for a king suite per the contract. The balance was to be paid upon arrival. When I did arrive the attendant would not process a credit card payment and demanded cash. That was the start of the breach of contract. This was a nonrefundable booking. Finally get to the room to find 2 double beds and it was not the suite I...

It is a run down, bug infested, water damaged, no hot water, no facilities, no help to drag luggage up 2 flights of stairs...I am a 73 yr solo female traveler and felt unsafe the whole time I was there. "Incredible stay at Villa Marcella. The rooms are nice and comfortable and it’s great finishings. The food was delicious, highly recommend the ceviche caribeno. Pizza was tasty while relaxing in the pool. This is the place to relax and lounge around. No cell phone reception. WiFi is spotty. Bugs are around so load up on your repellant. "

"If you are looking for a quiet relaxing place this is it! I am not into yoga but if you are then this is the place for you. The staff are courteous and very helpful and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. We stayed for 3 nights and never left the area. The Lagoon is absolutely gorgeous. I recommend taking the boat tour as Jami was very iformative and friendly. "
