This place was seriously so cute and we really enjoyed our stay! Only thing I would recommend , room 211 definitely needs some attention to the bathroom counter before someone leans too hard and it falls. Other than that. We would absolutely stay again and we appreciate the hospitality <3

I have never stayed anywhere that made an issue of bath towels…..until now. We had two towels in the room and need three (one for husband and two for me - hair and body). We went to the desk on day one and asked for a third towel and were given a hard time, saying their policy was to limit towels provided to folks. We explained why we needed three. We were eventually given a third towel and had to provide our room number-not sure if this was being logged somewhere. Days two and three - same thing, because housekeeping would come in the room when we were gone and take three and leave two. (We would have hung a do not disturb sign on the door so we could keep the three towels, but there was no sign for us to use.) We can’t believe this was even an issue! What hotel makes patrons feel like criminals when asking for a TOWEL!? Bed was rock-hard. As others have stated, facility and room were very dated and ‘beat up’. We did not mind that, as we read other reviews and knew what to expect. We didn’t see adequate plugs near both sides of the bed. There was a small balcony overlooking a small wooded area. We were checked in my Rob, who was very welcoming and helpful. Rob was also NOT one of the people we dealt with about towels. Rob was great. We have family in the area and it would have been nice to have found a place to stay when visiting. Unfortunately, we didn’t find that to be the Spring House Inn.

Gorgeous property, clean & quiet rooms with balconies that over look the surrounding nature attached to every room. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property on our way to Chicago since it was near Indiana Dunes. Although it had a unique lodge look in a pretty wooded setting, I would only give this hotel a "average" rating. The staff was not very friendly, the room was clean but very outdated (and noise easily heard from other rooms). There was breakfast but very limited, so we didn't eat there.

The design & construction of the Springhouse Inn is wonderful, it is well-maintained, but does show its age a bit. Its setting in the woods by a stream is delightful, but a bridge on the road to it is out, and the restaurant, The Spa, which was originally there is gone. Nevertheless, we recommend it highly.

Property was a little dated but quaint. It was very clean. The grounds were very picturesque and there were many birds and even some deer we saw in the morning from our balcony. Loved the pergola with the swings!

We love to stay here, and have for years. It's close to two major interstates, and just minutes from the beautiful Indiana Dunes. The hotel is resort-like, but without the high prices. Beautiful grounds, fun to have Pizzaria Uno within walking distance, rooms are pleasant, and the lobbies and common areas make me feel like I'm at a National Park Inn.

It's an aging property in need of maintenance. The balcony door had wood damage outside. The door to our room needed to be forcibly lifted by the handle in order to latch--the staff was aware of this so this was deferred maintenance. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nothing special, but adequate.
