Girona’s most famous sight is its cathedral. Boasting the widest Gothic nave in the world, the imposing structure dates from the early 14th century and remains one of the most distinctive buildings in Girona. Once you’ve explored the cathedral, it’s time to head out and discover the rest of the old town of Girona. The 13th century Jewish quarter is one of the most atmospheric parts of the city. There you’ll find a large number of historic buildings as well as a museum dedicated to the neighbourhood’s history.
