"This is a unique property. It is an actual working vineyard that the Chateau, which is ancient and beautiful sits in the center. Beautiful area to stroll around the grounds even among the grape vines. Food was outstanding wine was terrific and the room was very nice. Also great buffet breakfast. Very remote so take the breakfast and spend the day exploring this beautiful wine country. Definite 5 star "

"Unfortunately this is the worst Kyriad we have stayed in. It is very tired and needs a lot of work doing to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Air con wouldn’t work, and it was very warm in the room but unfortunately noisy with the window open, which we had to endure, no kettle, not enough towels. The rooms are very noisy, with I’m guessing, limited soundproofing. The hairdryer however was one of the best I have used in a hotel. The reception and breakfast areas are pleasant. Very limited menu in the restaurant. The staff were friendly."

"Surprisingly, no lift but reception was prompt to switch our arthritic selves to ground floor. Bar had excellent, reasonably-priced local wines (Beaujolais Villages) & on-site restaurant had Canette des Dombes."
