Holiday Inn Reims Centre by IHG (Chambres Rénovées)
10/10 Excellent
"Loved this hotel. Very convenient to the main pedestrian walk, cathedral and restaurants. Parking is a little challenging bc the spots are VERY small but our little car made it in. If not, there is a larger municipal structure a few doors down. Room for 3 was tight with the pullout couch out but manageable. We had a terrace which was delightful for a glass of wine and cheese. Bed was excellent, bathroom clean and modern and worked. Separate toilet which is nice. Breakfast was fabulous - up on the top floor overlooking the rooftops and the cathedral in the distance. Great offerings - eggs, cheese, meats and many breads. Fruits, juice. Only complaint was the croissant wasn't so great but that's minor. Staff was wonderful and helpful and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again."
"This is the 4th B&B Hotel we have stayed in on our trip. It was much as we expected, modern, smart, well situated on the edge of the city. Parking was opposite, shared with the train station.
The chap on the reception, Valotte ( not sure of spelling ) was very helpful and friendly. Our room was small but had all we needed, including aircon, although this is the smallest bathroom we have experienced yet with a very compact shower cubicle.
Nice bar, lounging area with games, including a pool table.
Good stay, would stay here again."
"The location is situated well in proximity to Train Station, many restaurants/cafe's/bars, shopping, the cathedral. Staff was lovely at the front desk and restaurant. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. "
"The hotel is modern and clean. Housekeeping was very efficient. Our fitst morning our room was made up while we were at breakfast. Catherine at the Front Desk gave outstanding customer service. 10/10"
"We stayed one night on our way home to the UK. The hotel was really easy to get to. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We ate at the hotel as we had arrived late and the kitchen is open 24/7. The food was good and we had a lovely bottle of wine. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend and will use again. "
