"This is a typical Ibis right next to Orléans station and close to the historic area. It's everything you need and nothing fancy but clean and well located. Here is the ridiculous part. There are 4 rooms where your room key will not allow you to access the lift security. Mine was one of these. I found out after checked in and tried to get back in the lift. "The Odalys was perfectly situated for our stay as we were based at the ice rink which is only 1 street away. The room was pleasant, the bed relatively comfortable although only one pillow each. The self catering facilities were adequate for our needs, however there was only one drinking glass and the table was very wobbly. Overall it was good, and was what we expected for the price: no frills, clean accommodation."

"The rooms are really new. So new that I can still smell it. I’m sure the smell will be done in a couple months. Other than that, staff is nice and room is very comfortable. However, only one of us were able to use the QR code on the doors to unlock them even after following all the instructions. We were also expecting a designated parking spot, but it turns out to just be street parking. Breakfast was wonderful, would be great if there are food options other than carbs."

"Great hotel but you need a permit to park outside the hotel which wasn’t apparent. There is plenty of free parking near by. Very few people speak or understand English in Beaugency. You will need basic French to help your stay! Best coffee was at the Cremerie Fromagerie-so good!"

Pleasantly surprised at this hotel

"Very good budget hotel. No restaurant for evening meals but very good breakfast, gym if you need to exercise, secure parking, very good staff, comfortable bed, great bath/ shower and cosy and warm when it was almost freezing outside. Recommended."
