"The property is absolutely stunning! The decor and finish is of such a high spec. The communal room is lovely and the pool and outside area is beautiful! The breakfast was delicious and just enough to start your day! The hosts are lovely and attentive just enough but not in your face. The location is great and close enough to walk into town. I would definitely recommend this place! "

"Nice room and property (including nice grassy area around the hotel for doggie walk), friendly staff. Unfortunately aircon did not work, which was a problem with our doggie. We had to open window to let fresh air in but then we could hear road nearby."

"What a wonderful hotel. The exterior walls are original but everything inside is apparently new from 2020. So, you get modern electrical, plumbing, HVAC. The floors don’t squeak, the furniture is new but with old world charm. The perfect combination. The staff was friendly and adept at speaking English. The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced. "

"After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. "This hotel was nicer than I expected. Very clean, helpful staff and an eco friendly room(large soap dispensers, smart lighting options). Perfect sized room for 1 person. Convenient to the city tram and Gare St Jean."
