Property is showing its age. Old worn furniture, broken desk chair, torn lampshade, water damage to bathroom wall and door. In the common areas all paint surfaces are scratched. Breakfast barely qualifies as a hot breakfast. Minimal choices. Hot food always running out.

The property was nice with several casual restaurants easily walked to. The staff was friendly and a decent hot breakfast was available. The gym was sufficient and very clean. The less desirable aspects were the lack of hot water and the quality of the toilet paper. At check in, we were told to let the water run 5-7 minutes to get hot. After that amount of time, it was warm. By the time my husband finished his shower, it had been 12 minutes and the water never got beyond warm.

Room had bugs in bathroom and in main part of room. When i informed the front desk lady at check out she just said”ok”’ and acted like she did not care. We have been staying here for over 2 yrs as my we are I. Charleston for medical reasons every few months and since new management the place has went downhill fast. Also the entire 2nd floor smelled like weed. Needless to say we will not be back and that is so disappointing for me as it was once a great place to stay.

Disappointing considering the price. The walls are paper thin. We could hear everything our neighbours were saying. They weren’t yelling or partying; just talking. The hotel was half empty yet we had neighbours on both sides of us all 3 nights. The carpets and windows are old and there are signs of past water leakage in the bathroom. The water took forever to heat up. Breakfast was okay; enough variety.
