"We had a wonderful stay at Abaco on Jervois. Sheryl helped us arrange an early check-in, which was so nice after a long flight. The room had everything we needed and we loved the energy saving features. Parking was so convenient and we could easily walk to Ponsonby to get dinner. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely large heritage villa close to bus and train connections and plenty of parking. We stayed in a Queen room in the annexe - clean with good bathroom and great view through to City. Friendly staff and easy check in. It was a shame the pool looks a bit run down and could do with a reno."

"We stayed for 1 night (New Years Eve) as we were eating nearby with friends and it was very convenient to stay here and get a good night sleep. Had a lovely view of Auckland city and the sky tower. No parking on site though and so had to park on a side street further away as there was no parking on the road in front of the place either. "

"The Great Ponsonby is a place full of character and quirky… we loved it! All the staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. They even did our laundry! Breakfast was great. Lots of places to dine within very easy walking distance. Wish we could have stayed longer. "
