Property was in a great location next to many walkable dinning options and Metro stops.

Our family spent 5 nights at My Maison - Lourve. We rented 2 units. Overall we had a decent stay. The property is sweet, relatively well kept for its age & had the idyllic Parisian feel. The location is very central & convenient to all popular sights (ie. Lourve, Notre Dame, Effiel Tower, etc.). Depending on what side of the building you’re at, it can be really noisy & not ideal for light sleepers. Our unit over the cafes were noisy into the late night & early in the morning with trash trucks & sidewalk cleaners. The other unit facing a small side street was a lot quieter. Property management was easy to access, but issues weren’t always dealt with expeditiously. The washer/dryer in one unit did not work the entire duration of our stay. The elevator was also out of commission, which made it tough to carry our luggage up and down the small spiral staircase.

Staying at the Normandy Hotel felt like stepping into an old-world Parisian fairytale—complete with charm, comfort, and the kindest hosts. From the moment I arrived, the front desk angels, Carolina and Nathan, made everything seamless. Whether it was arranging taxis or tracking down their exact arrival (because… Paris traffic!), they had it covered with a smile. My room? A cozy, spacious little sanctuary where vintage meets comfort. The bed was a cloud—soft, dreamy, and impossible to leave. Everything was spotless and quietly luxurious, the kind of clean that whispers “relax, you’re taken care of.” And the location—chef’s kiss! I could practically waltz to the Louvre, sip espresso near Palais Royal, or take a moonlit stroll to the Seine. The Normandy wasn’t just a hotel—it was a soft place to land in the heart of Paris. The main reason we are rating this hotel a 4* rather than a 5* is that the pictures on the website of the studio are not representative of the actual room size, which is extremely small. The room listing states that the room sleeps 3 - which technically it does - but with the sofa bed pulled out it was impossible to open more than one suitcase at a time due to the limited floor space. We had to crawl over each other to get to the bathroom. It would be fine (though cozy) with two people, or three people with small suitcases staying for a short period. An additional limitation was the sound-proofing between the rooms. On our last night, the room next door was partying, and we got essentially no sleep. There is only one young adult on duty at the desk and after one complaint we were actually concerned to put him in the position to have to go back to the room additional times and interrupt the festivities of three very clearly intoxicated and somewhat belligerant adult males. We could hear everything, which wasn't ideal for our child. There is only a door between the two rooms, and it is not adequately soundproofed. Apart from those drawbacks, the hotel is in a great area, is very clean, and the room was nicely appointed. Another thing to note is that they charge to replace towels and clean the room, which is on top of the base rate.
