"Staying in the Krungthep river view king size bed room. The room is very spacious and clean, I was worried after reading some reviews that it would be tired, but, far from it, everything was clean and working. Being Bangkok, the balcony was noisy from road and river traffic but if you want to get a bit quieter walk to the main pool rather than the one in front of wing. The staff were all smiles and very pleasant."

"The staff was great and very friendly. We were upgraded to a room with terrace, which was nice. Outstanding breakfast buffet ( one of the finest we’ve encountered), though expensive. Pleasant riverside bar (though the live vocal combo was consistently off pitch). Evening dining options were weak and neighborhood seemed isolated. Not sure it gives a visitor a sense of the real pulse of Bangkok, which would be our primary objection"
