"The worst part that hotel does not help with transfers, even though its only 6 min drive from Seronera Air Ship. while in Tanzania people should know that they trying to scam everywhere, Therefore strongly recomended to use and organize the trip via trusted services. Contacted hotel few times regarding transfer, they never reply. the only message they sent that aboultvtheir constant concession fee and entrance to the park . which yhey charge per day not per entrance. "The property has been closed for two weeks and we were not notified until we got there in the middle of the night we need an explanation and refund. "The lodge is located in a central place amongst the vast Serengeti, so it is relatively easy to visit the sites where the animals are located. I found the buffet fantastic with a great chef and helpful staff. Dancers accompanied the evening meals and there was a nice vibe in the dining area. You cannot leave the premises of the lodge, it literally is too dangerous to do so, as hyenas, warthogs or even a hippo may attack you. An incredible sight I witnessed was to see a giraffe appear at night behind my room! Some mornings, monkeys would appear on the roof of the lodge, but they were harmless and ran away from the sight of us. The views from the lodge of the Serengeti are fantastic and many a guest woke up early to try to witness the sunrise or sunset. The rooms are just about spacious enough for 2 people but the wi-fi is poor. Lights go out at 12 midnight and there is no hot water from 12 to 6 AM, not a huge issue for me personally. The gym has a good set of equipment’s and was not busy at all during my stay. I regretted not taking binoculars for my safari and I think it would be a good business opportunity if the lodge rented these out. "
