"Lovely little hotel nestled away in pincalo, quiet and peaceful hotel setting in a busy area. Sadly wasn't easy to get around but first time in Bangkok and lacked local knowledge. The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was basic, comfortable and clean. If you want to stay in pincalo I highly recommend staying at Charlie house."

"Yaks house is an amazing hostel. Staff is very friendly and they helped us with all the questions we had regarding the town. There is also laundry services in an affordable price. Breakfast was cool , 3- 4 a la carte options very tasty. Breakfast staff was friendly. Shared toilet was super clean and not cruded. Location is good , you can walk 5 mins to pier (port) and take the boat to discover Bangkok. Thank you guys!"

"The hotel is very nice and right by the river. The rooms are also very comfortable. Getting to the hotel from the main roads is a bit tricky, and especially for solo female travelers could be scary. Additional hint: the staff will suggest you leave your shoes outside your room. We did that and in two occasions one of the cat pee'd on my shoes. "The hosts were so gracious here. I was worried about the boat ride across the river, but it was never a problem. We had to leave early for our flight and they packed a breakfast for us. That was so kind! A wonderful place to relax, I wish we could have stayed longer."

"To be honest it can be loud at night, a lot of clubs and music on that street, but I stayed on back side of hotel and barely heard a thing. Also as one local explained this Hotel is Thai Style..so if you don't like your mattress on floor and toilet and shower in same spot than this is not your place..but if you like to live more local style great choice.. Nice pool on roof with swim up bar also just regular bar on roof that serves drinks and food. Also area as alot of shops and stands, bars, clubs, restaurants and even a 7/11 across the street. I would stay again."
