"Every staff member from check in, cleaning woman, to all the restaurant staff were friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. We've stayed here a few times however it's been more than 5 years since our last visit and everyone made us feel at home."

"Conditions good except for bed. Bed was uncomfortable to sleep on(uneven). Definitely need to replace the bed. Good location from mall, freeway, Carmel and ocean."

"I think that everyone should stay at the La Playa Hotel when in Carmel. It has all the things. Its beautiful! The service is wonderful! The bountiful buffet breakfast is amazing. Buds Bar is so cozy and cute. Welcome glass of wine or sangria! Yummy warm chocolate chip cookies in the evening! Transportation to nearby restaurants. There is a pool but too cold in February! Walkable to the Gorgeous beach and shopping. What else could you ask for? A definite recommend! "
