and the spa were also great. One drawback is that I did not like the fact that it was hard to walk from the hotel into the town. There was no sidewalk and so I felt a bit hemmed in. The hotel did a wonderful job, however, providing transportation to the Borromean Islands and there was a shuttle into the town of Stresa. "
