"It was a comfortable peaceful place in Varadero and I am glad I opted for it. Couldn't ask for a better location it's very close to beautiful beaches all restaurants and shopping places. We were welcomed warmly by the hosts and they got rooms ready in a quick manner considering we booked the rooms on arrival. The whole surrounding area is quiet a short walk and you are on the beach. "Writing from Dec 2022. Just had a stay here, with our family, and it was excellent. Ricardo's is a house in a very nice location in Varadero, situated between (and a few blocks away from each) 1st avenue and the Autopista. Walking distance to both the main Varadero beach to the north of the house. Walking distance to the mall with an amusement park to the south. Yet no big auto traffic around the house! "The property is sparkling clean. Yamila and Yuri are great hosts. They are awailable for any needed information. I would highly recoment Papo's house for longer stay, especially for families and couples, since the beach is within 5 min walk distance. When we will retyrn to Cuba we will stay at Papis house again for sure. "

"Very expensive for a chicken coop and far away from everything. Towels were stained. Bedsheets were smelly. WiFi took two hours to connect. She kindly gave us a water bottle…that was filled from the tap. Room was so small that we could hardly walk. Definitely do not recommend"

"I am sorry to have missed Amelia due to her accident but Pepe was most welcomming in arranging taxi's, excursions, etc. The house with 2 rooms is centrally located just off the main strip with the beach on the other side, whilst the main hotels are located away, at either end of the strip. Internet requires the purchase of cards which can be hard to source so buy several when found as 1 hour is only 50 CUP. I would recommend this home from home."

"Yami was very accommodating and helpful with our needs around the area, getting a unit with a kitchenette, getting food, changing money and doing laundry. She is a great host, the room and common spaces were very clean. The location is great for shopping, groceries, restaurants, and across the street from beach access. It's at the end of the street, so very quiet as well. I would recommend to anyone. "

"This house is is peaceful! It was just one night but the owner helped me getting drivers and exchanging money. The room has a little kitchen area with a table, sink, and a small fridge. Good to eat your take out and keep drinks cold, not sure if there is a cooking option. You have your own independent entrance. You can sit outside in the patio and balcony of the house and relax with the ocean breeze. Just walking from the beach and good restaurants. "
