"Little gem of a hotel tucked away in a beautiful corner of SW Sardinia. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room is spacious enough and modern, but with a local/maritime touch on the decor. Breakfast is excellent: you get the continental options + separate menu with items that are cooked for you by the virtuoso lady right there. Unfortunately, they closed their restaurant a few years ago but you can get light meals for lunch and dinner (for the latter, lasagna or melanzane...

"Very nice hotel, comfortable room. We had a good view over the swimming pool and lagoon, so very enjoyable sitting out on the balcony. Really loved the pool and surround - very relaxing indeed. Pleasant breakfast with excellent coffee and a lot of cake. Convenient for walking to other bars and restaurants, a bit further to the beach "

"Overall the Mercury Boutique Hotel was good. Its a quiet and stylish hotel, great if you want to relax and chill out. The food was tasty and the staff are very friendly. The only downside was the hotel being a bit remote."

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Portovesme. Extremely friendly and efficient check in. Breakfast lovely and coffee great. Our bikes were stored safely in the garage with no fuss. Portovesme was a surprisingly lovely little town and we will definitely be back."

"Perfect stay here. Phenomenally well-located at the end of the main stretch in the port area, easy walk to all the great restaurants and gorgeous back/side streets, as well as views onto the port and a grocery store just a block or two away. The room had everything we needed - - was clean, simple, and well appointed, and the breakfast which was included was the perfect start to our day. Also, probably most important, the staff was phenomenal, and extremely helpful with their time and local...

"Michele was very responsive & welcoming from the time I booked the accommodation. He sent a few links to places to see in Carloforte plus the ferry timetable which were all very helpful. Our room was very quiet, clean with a comfortable bed. Although breakfast wasn’t included, there is a kitchen with utensils, etc that one can use for a take out meal. Would highly recommend staying here. "
