"Incredible location. 5 minute walk to metro, 5 minutes to Guggenheim. With the location I was able to travel to Guernica, the coast and all over town through metro and trains. The entrance from the street requires a code to unlock a gate - it is always closed at night but I found sometimes during the day it was closed."

"This quirky little pension in Bilbao's old town was only a 10-minute walk from the the main railway station and less than five from the nearest bus stop. But be prepared for walking up the 2 flights of stairs to the pension entrance. No double glazing, so sounds from outside carry - light sleepers should come equipped with earplugs.
