The biggest casino on St. Maarten and St. Martin is Casino Royale. The entertainment complex on the Dutch side of the island has bars, clubs, restaurants and a theatre that are packed with revellers after dark. An area of 6,400 square metres (21,000 square feet) holds more than 20 gaming tables. Come to gamble, shop, watch a show after dinner and party well into the night. The casino and surrounding entertainment centre are one of the most popular attractions on the island come nightfall.
Gambling is the main attraction. Watch others or try your luck and play the tables. Try your hand at black jack, roulette or poker or learn the locals’ favourite, Caribbean Poker. There are low-limit tables so you don’t have to worry about losing all your holiday money in one night. Watch experienced big spenders in the high-rollers room who play with large amounts of cash.
If gambling is not your thing or you’ve had enough, there are plenty of other ways to spend your time at Casino Royale. Go shopping at boutiques and fashion outlets that offer duty-free shopping. Find a range of restaurants and bars within the Maho Village complex. Eat Thai, Japanese or French in international restaurants. Sip cocktails or try Caribbean beer in bars. Catch a show at the in-house theatre that seats 750 people then end the night dancing at the Tantra nightclub. The popular club within the casino complex features international DJs nightly.
Casino Royale is situated in the centre of St. Maarten on Maho Beach. Look for the Maho Village resort and entertainment centre. Get there by car from almost anywhere on the island. There is parking available for a fee in the off-street car park. The casino is open every day until late. There’s no fee to enter.
