"Warm welcome as always with great concierge and front desk experience The room was more worn than on previous visits and would bereft from fresh pair and wood polish on chairs etc. The service during lunch was slow and disappointing. At one point we tried to order coffee in Portuguese but the waitress did not understand so we swiped to English but when asked for a traditional Portuguese liquor she did not know what it was and got confused… so we had coffee and left. Breakfast was very good...

"Love this resort, we did enjoy it at its off season; the weather was mild at the end of November and only got 1 rainy day. Staff is friendly and helpful. We have a lovely 2 bedroom suite and kitchen and living rm, the only thing I would have to say is that we kept having issue with internet and that was do to the room’s router which they replace a day after we arrived."

"I highly recommend this hotel. The location was walking distance to an adorable market, the rooms were very large and comfortable, all with spectacular views, and the food is to-die for. Seriously, the food was absolutely incredible. The breakfast buffet actually had a lovely spread, room service was prompt and the food was plated like you were eating in a nice restaurant, which is rare for room service, and the actual restaurant on-site was Michelin level quality and presentation.
