"Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend Casa do Foral. They pay attention to details and will make your stay so very enjoyable. "

"It was an amazing find! It felt so peaceful and relaxing! They have a beautiful orchard with goats! The property was pristine and had beautiful antiques throughout! They are a 5 th generation family business! Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome! As a bonus they have espresso, tea, fruit, and cookies out all the time. You feel like you are home!!! Guests are welcome to bring food in and eat in the common dining area. This place was a treasure! We will definitely be back!"

"Walked up from the train station. Beautiful location. Initially confused as to where lobby/ check-in is located because of so many Pousada Vila Obidos signs, but once we located the proper entrance, our experience could not have been better. Pedro is an excellent employee, giving us suggestions, answering questions, seeing us walking along the street and ensuring we were doing well later in the day. Walking along the top of the wall is so fun and you must try a ginja!"
