"We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"This felt like staying as a guest in someone’s home. Hosts Alessandra and Guido are very welcoming. The property is so beautiful overlooking the valley with mountains to the side. The owners are so nice, the apartment we stayed in was simply gorgeous, it had everything we needed and more.
