"This is a true find. The location cannot be beat and the staff :Luis, Lisa and Philip are top notch. The breakfasts are works of art and so delicious. The room is quiet and comfortable and has been totally modernized. We loved our 4 nights here and will return and recommend to friends. Thank you Guest House Douro for a truly memorable time. "

"we did late-check-in. but the way that pass the key was really irresponsible and NOT safe, I think. I didnt realize her contact & 24hour contact didn't work, so we took long time to check-in (Guimaraes might be a safe place, but...😥😫) Also "the reception opens at 10am" is too late. the price is really reasonable if guests don't do late-check-in. "

"We had a great stay at Mo House, the rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and there was a large variety of food items. It was in a very convenient location, easy to walk all over downtown Porto."

"This guest house is very simple. It has a beautiful stair case and no elevator. It's central location in the city is excellent, but obviously there can be noisy people in the streets and city noise. There are several coffee and breakfast places within a 5 minute walk. The beds were more comfortable than usual. The shower had hot water. For the price I paid, I was satisfied."

"I had a wonderful stay at Cale Guest House. The location is perfect—so accessible to many of Porto's top sightseeing spots, making it easy to explore the city. The view from my room was exceptional, and the rooftop area added an extra special touch for enjoying the night scenery. The house itself is old but beautiful, filled with character, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. "Staff on site from 8am to 23hish, which covers most check in hours. They have another hotel building just steps away in case you have any other needs at other hours. The room was spacious, spotless and newly furnished. Kitchen was essentially fully equipped. No washer/dryer in the unit but that depends on your needs. Twins beds were comfortable. Bedding for the sofa bed was clean and comfortable as well. Housekeeping every 2 days is included. The shower gel dispenser was empty when we checked in...
