Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Property is an old home (part of the appeal in the wallled city) but well maintained. Breakfast was intimate & different each day. Highly recommend Casa Cordoba Estrella

Highly recommend Casa Cordoba Estrella. Went to Cartagena for a wedding and they made everything extremely easy. Checking in was easy and although I speak Spanish, they spoke great and clear English and were very helpful and informative. Free breakfast was way more than I expected including fresh juice, coffee, fruit bowl and eggs made to order. Room was clean and comfortable with my only issue being that the towels didnt smell clean but looked clean. Although I didnt use it, the pool on the rooftop looked clean and a great place to cool down from the heat with a nice view. Oh and the place felt very safe with their locked door and in a general safe area with lots of shops nearby

Only stayed one night at the end of our trip but was very impressed. Incredible architecture, friendly staff and a very nice room. The bathroom was especially nice. Spacious with great tile work. Also the onsite library is must see.
