"In short, the hotel and the area are what one would expect; good enough to enjoy it but not overly exciting."

"We had medical equipment we had to plug in. Just before we went to bed we discovered we didn’t have enough sockets next to the bed. We recieved no help from the desk person. We needed an extension cord or electrical strip. We finally had to move furniture and a lamp. Keeping in mind we are both over 70, this wasn’t easy. The room was clean and comfortable. We stay almost exclusively at La Quinta inn and suites. We’ve never had that happen any where else "

"Within 10 min walk to the beach, 10 minute drive to Carlsbad village and 5 minute away from the outlets. It was convenient for our purpose of visit. Breakfast options are nice (they had biscuits with gravy and egg with cheese omelette), plus the standard continental breakfast. Our room was on the smaller side but still good. Overall, a nice stay!"
