"check in was amazing, we were able to check in before going to Legoland. This is our third time staying here and the front desk staff is always very nice and accommodating. My only complaint is the breakfast food was cold and the server was a little overwhelmed."

"Although this hotel costs $900.00 plus per night, noise is a bit of a problem. The family staying in the rooms next to mine had a dog that made a “ crying” very sad & loud noise, when left alone in daytime,last time I visited. The pepperoni pizza is not available at the small shop in the lobby anymore.. one family next to my room woke up each morning so that they could walk the entire hall on our floor screaming and yelling to each other, while they continued to walk, back and forth, from 1 end...

"Amazing location on the beach. Rooms are cozy with an apartment feel. Staff is friendly and promptly fixed our shower when we had trouble turning it off. They also have different events on different days of the week. We were there on a Monday and they had a karaoke night. Walking distance to shops, dining, coffee, etc."

"The location is great. Property is beautiful. The Chandlers restaurant was also great for brunch and drinks in the evening. Unfortunately I booked a standard room and we must have gotten the "expedia special". Our room on the second floor had a roof view with AC units that ran loudly the entire night. So do yourself a favor and book a room with a window to somewhere. And while there is a great coffee station in the am. We seemed to be missing the timing. It is only available 6:30-8am. "

"We stayed a second time at this resort (10 nights first time and now 11 nights). Very easy to get from the airport without a car (free airport shuttle to Old Town and Coaster train to Carlsbad). In Carlsbad it was around a 5 min walk from the station to the hotel. If you have no car you can walk about 15 minutes to the grocery store if you would like to cook. There’s plenty of dining options around!!! Everything is very near the hotel. The hotel’s territory is beautiful and clean, very green...
