We enjoyed our stay in Cardiff. The hotel is very convenient, just off of the motorway, with services next door. Our room was comfortable and although the twin beds were narrow and looked quite rickety they were surprisingly comfortable although creaky! We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment but the staff were lovely.

It was very basic but very clean the staff were polite but the bar was very poorly stocked very little choice of drinks and on asking at the bar for a coffee we were told to use the self service machine in restaurant room. Also could only get to Cardiff by using taxis which changed between £20 to £30 each way journey very exspensive. We will not be staying at this IBIS hotel again

Nice stay
Really cant fault the hotel, the staff were all friendly, attentive and very eager to please. We stayed for one night. The rooms were clean, quiet, and well equipped. The bed was quite firm for my taste, but comfy enough. The shower was a little under powered but did the job. Brekfast was adequate, not much mkre than that. Pool table in the bar was a nice addition.

Paid for 2 breakfasts. We told the manager we were checking out early so could we have a refund. He said 2 off takeway breakfasts will be ready at 6am. THEY WERE NOT READY!! We were then told to wait until 6.30am, which we couldn't as we needed to be on site for 6.30am.

A pleasant stay
The room we stayed in was clean and a good size. The mattress was a little hard for my liking but this is obviously subjective. Staff were very polite and accommodating. The breakfast was well laid out and there was plenty of choice. Very close to Cardiff and M4 for easy access to everywhere.
