Very impressed with the staff who were on duty. They were very busy during the breakfast service but dealt with demand with very calm manner and always maintaining grace under pressure. Rooms were very clean and room service staff were usually close by fir extra towels.

Short family trip

Myself and the 3 children stayed here while visiting family in Barry, we usually stay with family but due to the current climate wanted to stay separately. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant had only just opened after restrictions lifted and they did the best to serve breakfast while maintaining social distance. The hotel is basic but that is the ‘express’ brand of Holiday Inn. All in I would recommend for a clean, affordable, short stay.

This stay was perfect as is / initially this wasn’t a part of the honeymoon, but once I added it, the stress of car rental returns and getting to the airport at 6am went away / staff was wonderful

Brilliant staff

If I ever want to stay near Cardiff in the future, this is the place I would choose (30 mins by bus/train to city center). I stayed 3 nights at this hotel recently with my friend who was visiting from America, I have nothing negative to say about my stay here. It was absolutely perfect! The staff were the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered when staying at other hotels. They are a wonderful representation of the company. Thank you all so much.
