"Not much we didn't like. Handy to trains ( our preferred method of transport), to Cardiff central, and easy to get in and out. Lifts are confusing and can leave before you get to the door. Dining room very good, commend the chef. And the more than adequate room had a bath! A rarity in hotels these days but very welcome. We've never stayed in a bad Mercure, that remains the case."

"Lovely friendly staff. Very convenient location. I had a room at the back of the hotel and it was really quiet considering it is right in the city centre. It is an older hotel but was very clean. Bed was super comfy!"
