"Blue Whale Villa was a great place to stay, our only downsides were that it is a bit far from things on the island, but we were alright with the drive and happy with the place. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. "I booked this trip for my clode friend. She was extremely disapoibted because the A/C didnt work and she spoke with the front desk more than once on the issue. Additionally during her stay housekeeping never changed the linens..she did not enjoy her stay at all. It was very uncomfortable "

"Quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Great view of the sea and mountains. Tamara (staff) was incredibly warm, helpful and welcoming. She ensured I had everything that I needed. The room was huge, clean and cozy and well maintained. I appreciated the peaceful surroundings. Hotel Champs is an excellent choice for travelers seeking an affordable, quiet stay. "I absolutely recommend anyone visiting Dominica to stay here. I had an amazing stay thanks to the staff and the beautiful nature all around. Very comfortable and relaxing. I travel a lot and always stay in hotel, but this is a place of serenity. Highly recommend to stay here for a different experience from your typical hotel. You really get to take in the island and all its beauty."

"I wish I'd had more than one night to relax at this little gem of a hotel on a little gem of an island nation. The hotel arranged a taxi from DOM airport, and I was welcomed warmly and thoughtfully upon arrival. My particular needs were met with great care. My room, really a suite, was well appointed and included a fully stocked kitchen. Everyone on staff was polite and accommodating. I had a late lunch at the hotel's restaurant. My meal was good, but the heat in the no-AC dining room and the constant need to shoo away flies made it a somewhat uncomfortable experience. This was the only downside, and it did not put any sort of damper on my stay. I look forward to returning if life takes me back to Dominica."

"The property was well kept and had everything we needed and then some. Carol Anne has thought of everything to make a guest stay pleasant, convenient and comfortable. The garden and gazebo are beautifully kept and manicured. Perfect for a scrumptious breakfast setting, which we received !! A healthy vegetarian breakfast with fresh local produce. Fresh bread, juices, tea and jam. The property is easy to find with brightly painted sign posts along the road. To go with Carol Ann and Nick’s welcome. We shall be returning !!"
