"Absolutely brilliant place to stay, very close to Mindelo and WALKING distance to the airport. One of the best places we stayed in the whole of CV islands, with all the luxury one is used to in Europe, including comfy bed and working warm showers, there’s even a pool in the hotel terrace. Walking distance to the beach and some great eateries. For a few dollars you can catch an Aluguer from Mindelo to here and have some peace and quiet away from busy Mindelo. "We booked two nights at this hotel. We contacted the owner on whats app to let them know about our stay. We got in reply that they were not in the island at the moment, they were in vacation... so we couldn't able to stay at their place. We had to booked somewhere else, since then we haven't got any news from them, no apologies and no refund ! We called two times Hotels.com to let them know and try to join the owner as well few times without answer, this is not professional at all !!"

"Nice colonial era house that has been converted to a B&B. Rooms are all on inner courtyard with a pool. Hotel is in a good location. Very convenient to all attractions. Rooms don't have air conditioning, only fans. Had to pay in cash when checking out."

"It is a low cost hostel and well worth the money. Nice big room with a big bathroom and a small balcony. It was clean, but could do with a little renovation. The staff were friendly and spoke good English and they provided me with a bag with some breakfast, since I had to leave before 5 am. I will happily stay there again. "
