"We found the location to be in easy walking distance of all major. Whilst quite grand in appearance from the photos the interior is actually a little dated and although there was a lift to our floor we still had a number of steep stairs to negotiate with large suitcases. It was difficult to locate anyone for the front desk even at the times stated as "staffed". Verona is delightful"

"Il Relais dell'Abazzia is a wonderful B&B in the quieter area of San Zeno, about 10 mins walk away from the madness of the city centre. Our room was very ample, well appointed and spotlessly clean. "Easy access to bus for day trip to Verona Staff was extremely helpful and friendly No AC if you go after sept 30 but that seemed to be the case in all our Northern italy stays. Window open was fine as it is not noisy. Overall, a good day we were only going to be there one night but opted to stay a second night because everything was so convenient."
